5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies. These technologies may be placed by us or by providers supporting our website, payment, delivery, analytics, advertising, security, and marketing functions.
5.1 Categories of Cookies
- Strictly necessary cookies: Used for security, account authentication, shopping-cart functions, checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, and essential Site operation.
- Functional cookies: Used to remember preferences, saved carts, wishlists, review information, and other optional features.
- Analytics and performance cookies: Used, where enabled, to understand Site traffic, page performance, product interest, and how visitors interact with the Site.
- Advertising and social-media cookies: Used, where enabled, to measure advertising, limit repeated advertisements, understand campaign results, or personalize content on this or other services.
You can control many cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie-preference control displayed on the Site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the cart, checkout, account, or payment functions from working properly.
5.2 Do Not Track
Some browsers provide a traditional “Do Not Track” or “DNT” setting. Because there is not a single, uniformly accepted technical standard governing these signals, the Site does not currently respond to traditional DNT signals.
5.3 Global Privacy Control
Where required by applicable law, we treat a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device sending the signal.
5.4 Third-Party Collection
When third-party analytics, advertising, social-media, payment, or delivery technologies are enabled, those third parties may collect information about your activity over time and across websites or online services. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy notices.
6. How We Disclose Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
- Website and technology providers: Hosting, WordPress and WooCommerce support, database, cloud storage, security, backup, development, maintenance, and technical-support providers.
- Payment and transaction providers: Payment processors, such as Clover where enabled, banks, card networks, fraud-prevention providers, and providers handling refunds or chargebacks.
- Delivery and fulfillment providers: Uber Direct or another delivery provider, couriers, shipping carriers, pickup coordinators, and address or distance providers.
- Mapping and location providers: Google Maps Platform or similar services used to validate an address, determine service availability, calculate distance, display a map, or generate a delivery quote.
- Communications and marketing providers: Email-delivery, text-message, newsletter, customer-support, promotional, and communication providers.
- Analytics and advertising providers: Providers that help measure Site performance, understand customer interactions, attribute advertising, or personalize advertising where those services are enabled.
- Professional advisers: Accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, attorneys, and other advisers acting under professional or contractual obligations.
- Government and legal recipients: Courts, regulators, law enforcement, government authorities, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, or security.
- Business-transaction recipients: A potential or actual buyer, investor, lender, successor, or adviser involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale, bankruptcy, or transfer of business assets.
- Recipients you authorize: Other parties when you request or consent to the disclosure.
We require service providers and contractors to handle personal information only for appropriate business purposes and subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.
7. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the payment method and payment processor displayed during checkout. Depending on the method selected, this may include Clover or another payment provider.
The payment processor may directly collect your name, billing address, email address, telephone number, payment-card number, expiration date, security code, bank information, device information, and transaction details. We generally receive information such as a transaction identifier, authorization result, payment status, payment method, card brand, and limited card details, such as the final digits of a card number.
Payment processors, card networks, and banks may use personal information for payment authorization, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, refunds, and chargebacks under their own privacy notices and legal obligations.
8. Pickup, Delivery, and Location Services
When you request local delivery, shipping, or pickup, we may disclose information needed to quote, arrange, complete, and monitor the order. This may include:
- Your name and telephone number;
- Pickup and delivery addresses;
- Address coordinates and distance information;
- Delivery, gate, building, unit, or contact instructions;
- Order number and delivery identifiers;
- Order value, item quantity, and relevant order contents;
- Age-restriction or identification-check requirements;
- Requested delivery time and fulfillment status; and
- Information needed to contact you regarding the delivery.
Delivery providers such as Uber Direct, shipping carriers, couriers, and mapping providers may process this information under their own privacy policies. A delivery provider may also collect additional information directly from you, such as communications with a courier, delivery confirmation, location information, a signature, or an identification-verification result.
When you permit your browser or device to provide location information, your browser, operating system, or location provider may also process that information. You can generally withdraw browser-location permission through your browser or device settings, although doing so may require you to enter an address manually.
9. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for money.
When analytics, advertising, or social-media technologies are enabled, the providers of those technologies may collect identifiers, cookie information, device information, commercial information, or Internet activity. Depending on the applicable privacy law and the way a technology is configured, some disclosures may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or use for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged.
You may exercise an applicable opt-out right by:
- Using a “Your Privacy Choices,” “Cookie Preferences,” or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control displayed on the Site, when applicable;
- Enabling Global Privacy Control in a supported browser;
- Emailing privacy@larryogsmokeshop.com; or
- Calling (323) 532-2377.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
10. Marketing Messages and Promotional Discounts
When you subscribe to our newsletter or promotional messages, we may use your email address and engagement information to send information about products, new arrivals, discounts, coupons, and other offers.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages needed to administer an account, process an order, provide a receipt, communicate about a delivery, respond to a request, or provide legally required notices.
Promotional Discount Program
We may offer a promotional discount, such as 10% off a qualifying purchase, when a customer voluntarily joins our email list. To participate, you provide an email address and follow the instructions shown with the offer. Program terms, exclusions, expiration dates, minimum purchases, and product restrictions may apply and will be disclosed with the offer.
You may withdraw from the promotional email program at any time by unsubscribing. Withdrawal stops future promotional emails but does not invalidate a discount already lawfully redeemed.
Where applicable law treats this type of discount as a financial incentive, we will provide any additional notice required by law at or before enrollment, including the applicable material terms and information concerning the value of the personal information involved.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for compatible business or legal purposes.
Factors used to determine a retention period include:
- The amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information;
- The purposes for which the information was collected;
- Whether those purposes can be achieved through other means;
- The duration of the customer or account relationship;
- The risk of harm from unauthorized access or disclosure;
- Fraud-prevention and information-security requirements;
- Payment, refund, dispute, and chargeback periods;
- Tax, accounting, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements; and
- The need to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
In general:
- Account information may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.
- Order, payment, tax, invoice, delivery, refund, and dispute records may be retained for the period required by applicable accounting, tax, payment, consumer-protection, and legal obligations.
- Pending, failed, canceled, and abandoned order data may be retained for a shorter period based on our website and fraud-prevention settings.
- Marketing information may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We may retain a limited suppression record to honor your unsubscribe request.
- Reviews and public comments may remain available while they are relevant or published, subject to applicable removal rights.
- Security logs may be retained for a period reasonably necessary to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Privacy-request records may be retained to document our response and legal compliance.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete it, anonymize it, aggregate it, or otherwise remove information that reasonably identifies an individual.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, account authentication, encryption during transmission, payment-provider security, software updates, backups, monitoring, and restrictions on administrative access.
No website, database, network, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for choosing a strong and unique password, protecting your login information, signing out of shared devices, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
13. Age-Restricted Services and Children’s Privacy
The Site offers products that may be legally restricted based on age. The Site and its purchasing functions are intended only for adults who are legally permitted to purchase the applicable products. Customers may be required to confirm their age or present valid government-issued identification at checkout, pickup, or delivery.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child under 13 without legally valid authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
A parent or legal guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us at privacy@larryogsmokeshop.com.

Please state the type of request you are making and provide enough information to allow us to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Information collected for verification will be used for that purpose and related fraud prevention.
We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law, including when we cannot verify the requester, when an exception applies, or when information must be retained to complete a transaction, maintain security, comply with law, resolve a dispute, or establish or defend legal claims.
14.3 Authorized Agents
Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity or confirm that you authorized the request.
14.4 Non-Discrimination
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Exercising certain rights may, however, affect a service when the information is reasonably necessary to provide that service, complete a requested transaction, or maintain security.
15. California Privacy Notice
This section provides supplemental information for California residents. The rights described in this section apply only to the extent that the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), applies to Larry OG Smoke Shop and to the personal information involved.
