This Return, Refund & Exchange Policy explains how Larry OG Smoke Shop (“Larry OG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles exchanges, order problems, cancellations, and refunds.
This policy applies to eligible purchases made through larryogsmokeshop.com (the “Site”) and eligible purchases made directly from our retail store at 5308 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, California.
Important: No Change-of-Mind Returns or Refunds
- We do not accept change-of-mind returns and do not issue change-of-mind refunds.
- Eligible, unused, unopened merchandise may be exchanged within 14 calendar days of delivery, pickup, or in-store purchase, subject to this policy.
- Exchanges require acceptable proof of purchase and are subject to product eligibility, inspection, availability, price differences, and applicable shipping or delivery charges.
- Food, beverages, tobacco, nicotine products, vape consumables, ingestible products, kratom, mushroom products, compressed gas, nitrous oxide, butane, and other health-, safety-, or legally restricted products are generally final sale and are not eligible for a change-of-mind exchange.
- Damaged, missing, incorrect, recalled, or defective merchandise is handled separately and is not automatically denied merely because the product category is otherwise final sale.
- A refund may be issued only when required by law, when we cancel an order before fulfillment, or when we approve a refund as the proper remedy for a confirmed order problem, defect, shortage, or recall.

1. Policy Overview
Larry OG does not accept ordinary returns or issue refunds merely because a customer changed their mind, ordered the wrong item, selected the wrong flavor, size, model, strength, or variation, found a lower price elsewhere, or no longer wants the product.
We offer exchanges for eligible merchandise when the request is made within the 14-calendar-day exchange period and all requirements in this policy are satisfied.
Because Larry OG sells consumable, ingestible, age-restricted, health-sensitive, pressurized, flammable, and hygiene-contact products, many products are final sale and cannot be exchanged for change-of-mind reasons.
There are three different types of requests under this policy:
- Change-of-mind exchange: The correct product was supplied in acceptable condition, but the customer wants a different eligible product. Only merchandise satisfying all exchange requirements may be exchanged for this reason.
- Order problem: A product arrived damaged, an item was missing, or the wrong product, quantity, or variation was supplied.
- Defect or warranty claim: A product may have a manufacturing, material, or workmanship defect.
Final-sale restrictions primarily apply to change-of-mind exchanges. Claims involving damaged, incorrect, recalled, or defective merchandise are reviewed separately under the applicable sections below.
2. Exchange Period
A request to exchange an eligible product must be initiated within 14 calendar days.
The 14-day period begins on:
- The date carrier tracking records delivery for a shipped order;
- The date a local courier records delivery for a local-delivery order;
- The date the customer or authorized recipient collects a pickup order; or
- The purchase date shown on the receipt for an in-store purchase.
Merely sending or bringing back a product without first contacting us does not satisfy the exchange-request requirement. The customer must provide the information described in the How to Request an Exchange or Order Remedy section.
Once we authorize an exchange, the product must be brought to the store or tendered to the approved carrier within the period stated in the authorization. Unless we provide a different period in writing, an authorized item should be sent or delivered within seven calendar days after authorization.
An authorization period does not extend the original 14-day deadline for initiating the exchange request.
3. Conditions for an Eligible Exchange
To qualify for a change-of-mind exchange, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- The exchange request was initiated within the 14-day exchange period;
- The product is not identified as final sale or non-exchangeable;
- The product is unused, unworn, unassembled, unfilled, and unaltered;
- The product has not been smoked from, inhaled from, consumed, tasted, tested, fueled, charged, activated, or placed in service;
- All manufacturer seals, tamper seals, shrink wrap, and protective coverings remain intact;
- The original retail packaging is complete and in resalable condition;
- All accessories, manuals, inserts, charging cables, components, labels, promotional items, and included parts are present;
- The product is free from smoke, vapor, fragrance, liquid, oil, chemical, food, and other odors or residue;
- Any serial number, product code, security mark, or identifying number matches our sales records;
- The customer provides acceptable proof of purchase;
- The exchange can be transported and handled safely and legally;
- The requested replacement is available; and
- The merchandise passes our inspection.
Proof of Purchase
Acceptable proof of purchase may include:
- An online order number;
- An order-confirmation email;
- An original register receipt;
- A gift receipt issued by Larry OG;
- The payment card used for the transaction; or
- Another verifiable record in our order or point-of-sale system.
We may request the customer’s name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, payment information, or identification to locate the transaction and prevent fraud.
Products purchased from another retailer, marketplace, delivery application, or website must be handled through that seller unless Larry OG expressly agrees otherwise.
4. Final-Sale and Non-Exchangeable Products
The following products are generally final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged merely because the customer changed their mind, selected the wrong flavor, size, model, strength, or variation, no longer wants the product, or is dissatisfied with a personal preference.
4.1 Tobacco and Smoking Consumables
- Cigarettes;
- Cigars and cigarillos;
- Loose, crushed, pipe, or roll-your-own tobacco;
- Tobacco leaves and tobacco wraps;
- Blunts and tobacco-containing rolling products; and
- Any other tobacco or tobacco-derived consumable.
4.2 Nicotine and Vape Products
- Nicotine-containing products;
- Disposable vapes;
- E-liquids and vape liquids;
- Prefilled or refillable pods and cartridges;
- Coils, atomizers, tanks, and consumable heating components;
- Mouthpieces and other hygiene-contact components;
- Opened vape or vaporizer devices; and
- Any vape product that has been filled, charged, activated, inhaled from, or tested.
Unopened, non-consumable vaporizer hardware may be eligible for exchange only when it is not marked final sale and all requirements in this policy are met.
4.3 Food, Beverages, and Ingestible Products
- Food, snacks, candy, gum, and edible products;
- Soda, water, energy drinks, seltzers, shots, and other beverages;
- Kratom products;
- Mushroom products;
- Botanical products;
- Capsules, powders, extracts, liquids, supplements, and ingestible products;
- Perishable merchandise; and
- Any product intended to be eaten, swallowed, dissolved, or consumed.
4.4 Compressed Gas, Flammable, and Pressurized Products
- Nitrous oxide and whipped-cream chargers;
- Compressed-gas cylinders, tanks, cartridges, and canisters;
- Butane and lighter-refill fuel;
- Other fuels and flammable liquids;
- Aerosols and pressurized containers; and
- Products marked hazardous, restricted, local-only, pickup-only, or Do Not Ship.
4.5 Used or Health-Sensitive Merchandise
- Pipes, bongs, water pipes, rigs, bowls, tips, mouthpieces, and similar items that have been used;
- Products that have contacted the mouth, body, tobacco, vapor, smoke, liquid, oil, herbs, or another substance;
- Opened cleaning solutions, chemicals, solvents, and soaking products;
- Used lighters, fueled torches, and activated ignition products;
- Opened or used batteries where safe resale cannot be confirmed;
- Products with residue, odor, contamination, scratches, wear, or evidence of use; and
- Products that cannot reasonably be resold for health or safety reasons.
4.6 Other Final-Sale Merchandise
- Products specifically marked “Final Sale,” “No Returns,” “No Exchanges,” or similar language;
- Customized, engraved, modified, or special-order products received as ordered;
- Clearance or closeout products specifically marked Final Sale;
- Products damaged, altered, or contaminated after delivery or purchase;
- Products without their original package when the package is required for safe resale;
- Free promotional products unless required as part of an approved remedy; and
- Products whose return transportation or exchange would violate law, carrier policy, or safety requirements.
A sale price alone does not automatically make an item final sale. A sale-priced product remains exchangeable when it otherwise satisfies this policy and was not clearly marked Final Sale before purchase.
5. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Merchandise
Contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery or pickup, if:
- A product arrived broken, cracked, leaking, punctured, crushed, or otherwise damaged;
- The package appears to have been opened or tampered with;
- A product, component, or quantity is missing;
- You received a product or variation different from what you ordered;
- The product was materially different from the product description; or
- An item was damaged while being delivered by a carrier or local courier.
Prompt reporting helps us preserve evidence, investigate the order, and submit any carrier or courier claim. A delay may make an investigation more difficult, but the preferred 48-hour reporting period does not eliminate a right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Please provide:
- Your name and order number;
- The affected product and quantity;
- A clear description of the problem;
- Photographs of the outer shipping or delivery package;
- Photographs of the shipping label or delivery label;
- Photographs or video showing the affected product;
- Photographs of any serial number, batch number, or product code; and
- Any relevant carrier, courier, or delivery information.
Keep the merchandise, original product packaging, shipping box, cushioning, label, and all components until we state that they are no longer required.
When we confirm that Larry OG supplied the wrong product or that an order arrived damaged or incomplete, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include:
- Sending the missing item;
- Replacing the damaged or incorrect item;
- Providing an equal exchange;
- Issuing a partial refund for an agreed shortage;
- Issuing a full refund for the affected item; or
- Providing another remedy agreed to with the customer.
When the problem was caused by us, we will not charge a restocking fee and will pay or reimburse reasonable authorized return costs when a physical return is required.
6. Defective Products and Warranties
A product defect is a manufacturing, material, or workmanship problem that prevents the product from functioning as it was reasonably represented to function.
Contact us promptly when you believe a product was defective when supplied. For electronic devices, batteries, chargers, lighters, torches, or similar hardware, reporting the issue within seven calendar days helps us evaluate whether the product was defective when sold.
We may ask you to provide:
- Photographs or video showing the problem;
- The product’s serial number, batch number, or manufacturing code;
- The charger, cable, battery, or compatible device used;
- A description of the troubleshooting already performed;
- The product packaging and instructions; and
- The allegedly defective product, when it can be returned safely and legally.
Do not continue charging, fueling, activating, or using a product that is leaking, swelling, overheating, sparking, smoking, punctured, or otherwise unsafe.
Problems That Are Not Normally Product Defects
- Dislike of a flavor, taste, scent, color, strength, texture, or personal experience;
- Ordinary variation in natural tobacco, botanical, food, or plant-based products;
- Normal wear, depletion, or expected consumable life;
- Accidental damage, impact, drops, crushing, water, or liquid exposure;
- Use with an incompatible charger, voltage, battery, liquid, accessory, or component;
- Improper filling, charging, cleaning, storage, assembly, or maintenance;
- Use contrary to product warnings or manufacturer instructions;
- Unauthorized modification, disassembly, repair, or tampering;
- Damage caused after delivery or pickup; or
- A customer ordering the wrong size, flavor, model, strength, or compatibility.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some devices and accessories may include a manufacturer’s warranty. When a manufacturer administers the warranty directly, we may provide reasonable information or proof of purchase to help the customer contact the manufacturer.
Depending on the product, warranty terms, circumstances, and applicable law, a defect remedy may involve troubleshooting, repair, replacement, exchange, refund, or manufacturer warranty service.
Nothing in this policy eliminates an express warranty, implied warranty, product-recall remedy, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
7. Hazardous and Regulated Product Safety
Do Not Mail a Hazardous or Regulated Product Without Written Instructions
Do not mail or tender tobacco, nicotine products, vaping products, lithium batteries, compressed gas, nitrous oxide, butane, fuel, aerosols, pressurized containers, leaking chemicals, damaged batteries, or another regulated or hazardous product unless Larry OG provides written instructions authorizing the specific method.
Unauthorized transportation of these products may be unsafe or may violate carrier, postal, delivery-provider, or legal restrictions.
When a product is leaking, punctured, swollen, unusually hot, smoking, hissing, or otherwise dangerous:
- Stop using the product immediately;
- Do not charge, ignite, puncture, compress, or open it;
- Keep it away from flames, heat, children, and animals;
- Move away from an immediate danger when it is safe to do so;
- Contact emergency services when there is an immediate fire, exposure, or explosion risk; and
- Contact us for product-specific instructions after addressing immediate safety concerns.
We may review photographs or video and provide instructions without requiring physical return of an unsafe product. Do not dispose of the product until we provide instructions, unless emergency authorities direct otherwise or immediate disposal is required for safety.
8. How to Request an Exchange or Order Remedy
Do not send or bring merchandise back without first requesting authorization.
- Contact us within the applicable period at support@larryogsmokeshop.com or call (323) 532-2377.
- Provide your name, order number or receipt information, telephone number, product name, quantity, and reason for the request.
- For a change-of-mind request, identify the product you want to receive in exchange.
- For damaged, incorrect, missing, defective, or potentially unsafe merchandise, describe the remedy requested and provide photographs, video, serial numbers, packaging information, or other requested evidence.
- Wait for written or recorded authorization and instructions.
- Bring the approved item to the store or send it through the specifically approved method within the authorization period.
Initial authorization means that we have agreed to inspect or review the product. It does not guarantee final approval before the product and supporting information are examined.
9. In-Store Exchanges
An authorized exchange may be brought to:
Larry OG Smoke Shop
5308 W Olympic Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Please bring:
- The product;
- All original packaging and included components;
- The online order number or original receipt;
- The payment card used for the purchase, when applicable;
- A valid government-issued photo ID when reasonably required; and
- Any exchange authorization or correspondence.
Age and identity verification may be required in connection with an age-restricted order or exchange.
Bringing an item to the store does not guarantee that it qualifies for exchange. Store personnel may inspect the product and transaction before approving the exchange.
10. Exchanges by Mail
Only merchandise specifically approved for exchange by mail may be mailed to us.
Instructions may provide a return address, authorization number, label, carrier, packaging requirement, or deadline. Follow those instructions exactly.
For an ordinary change-of-mind exchange:
- The customer is responsible for authorized shipping costs;
- The package should include tracking and adequate protection;
- The customer should retain the tracking receipt;
- The product remains the customer’s responsibility until received by us;
- Cash-on-delivery and postage-due shipments will not be accepted; and
- Unauthorized shipping charges will not be reimbursed.
Do not place a shipping label directly on retail product packaging unless instructed. Place the retail package inside an appropriate outer shipping box.
We are not responsible for an ordinary exchange shipment lost or damaged because of inadequate packaging or an unapproved shipping method.
11. Shipping and Delivery Charges
11.1 Change-of-Mind Exchanges
- The customer pays authorized shipping costs for the item sent back;
- The customer pays any applicable shipping or delivery charge for the replacement item;
- Original parcel-shipping and local-delivery charges are not refunded;
- Courier return-trip and redelivery charges are not refunded;
- Adult-signature and special-handling fees are not refunded; and
- No restocking fee is charged for a properly accepted exchange.
11.2 Larry OG Error or Confirmed Product Problem
When we confirm that we supplied the wrong item, omitted an item, or supplied merchandise that arrived damaged or was defective when supplied:
- We will not charge a restocking fee;
- We will pay or reimburse reasonable authorized return costs when a physical return is required;
- We may provide a prepaid label when legally and operationally available; and
- We may refund an applicable original shipping or delivery charge when the service or order was not properly provided.
Do not purchase expedited or special transportation and expect reimbursement unless we approved that expense in writing.
Additional information about original fulfillment charges appears in our Shipping, Local Delivery & Pickup Policy .
12. Product Inspection
We inspect merchandise presented for exchange or another remedy to confirm:
- The product was purchased from Larry OG;
- The correct product was presented;
- The serial number or identifying information matches our records;
- The request was initiated within the applicable period;
- The product is eligible under this policy;
- The product is unused, unopened, complete, and resalable when required;
- The claimed damage, shortage, error, or defect can be reasonably verified; and
- The product does not present a health, safety, legal, or fraud concern.
We may deny a change-of-mind exchange when the merchandise:
- Is final sale;
- Was used, opened, altered, fueled, charged, filled, consumed, or activated;
- Has missing packaging, accessories, components, or promotional items;
- Has residue, odor, contamination, wear, damage, or evidence of use;
- Does not match the product, serial number, or quantity sold;
- Was damaged after purchase;
- Was sent without authorization through an unsafe or prohibited method; or
- Otherwise fails the requirements of this policy.
If we cannot accept a product presented for exchange, we will explain the reason and, when appropriate and lawful, provide instructions for collecting or reshipping it. The customer may be responsible for the cost of sending a rejected item back to them.
13. Exchange Processing and Price Differences
Exchanges are subject to product availability. We cannot guarantee that a requested replacement, flavor, size, model, or variation will remain in stock while an item is in transit or awaiting inspection.
- If the replacement item costs more, the customer must pay the difference before the exchange is completed.
- If the replacement item costs less, we may issue the approved difference to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the transaction and available processing method.
- Promotional discounts are not converted into cash.
- For mailed online orders, we may ask the customer to place a new order after the original item is inspected rather than directly shipping an exchange.
A payment adjustment or refund that we approve generally is initiated within five business days after inspection. A bank, card issuer, or payment processor may require additional time to post it.
14. Sale, Promotional, and Discounted Merchandise
A product purchased at a sale or promotional price remains exchangeable when:
- The product is otherwise eligible under this policy;
- The product was not clearly marked Final Sale;
- The exchange is requested within the applicable period; and
- All condition and proof-of-purchase requirements are satisfied.
When an exchange affects a bundle, buy-one-get-one offer, quantity discount, coupon, free promotional item, or other promotion, we may recalculate the transaction according to the disclosed promotional terms.
A customer may be required to surrender a free promotional item when exchanging the qualifying purchase. If the promotional item is not provided, its disclosed or reasonable value may be included in the exchange calculation where permitted.
15. Order Cancellations
Contact us immediately to request cancellation. An order is not canceled until we confirm the cancellation.
We cannot guarantee cancellation after the order has entered preparation, payment settlement, packaging, courier dispatch, or carrier shipment.
When an order has already been shipped or delivered, the customer must follow this policy. Final-sale merchandise does not become exchangeable or refundable merely because a cancellation request was made after fulfillment began.
If we cancel an order before fulfillment, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method.
Additional cancellation rules appear in our Shipping, Local Delivery & Pickup Policy .
16. Failed Delivery and Unclaimed Pickup Orders
A delivery may fail because the customer or recipient:
- Was unavailable or could not be contacted;
- Provided an incorrect or incomplete address;
- Could not provide required identification;
- Did not satisfy an applicable age requirement;
- Refused the order;
- Requested an impermissible unattended delivery; or
- Could not safely or lawfully receive the order.
When a failed local delivery is returned to our store, the original delivery charge, courier return-trip charge, and any approved redelivery charge may be non-refundable when the failure resulted from customer or recipient action.
Depending on the product, its condition, and applicable law, we may allow an eligible adult to collect the returned order from the store within a stated period.
Final-sale products do not automatically become eligible for exchange or refund because the customer failed to receive or collect the order. We will review the order condition, fulfillment status, applicable charges, provider requirements, and any legally required remedy.
Pickup orders not collected within a reasonable period may be canceled or returned to inventory after we attempt to contact the customer. Any refund will be determined according to the product, payment status, preparation already completed, and applicable law.
17. Fraudulent or Abusive Requests
We may refuse an exchange, replacement, credit, or refund when we reasonably identify:
- An altered, copied, or fraudulent receipt;
- A product not purchased from Larry OG;
- A substituted, counterfeit, or different product;
- A serial number or product code that does not match the transaction;
- An intentionally damaged product;
- A false shortage, delivery, or defect claim;
- Repeated conduct indicating abuse of the exchange or claims process;
- Chargeback fraud or duplicate recovery for the same transaction;
- A request associated with unlawful activity; or
- Another material violation of this policy.
We may document claim activity, request identification, limit additional transactions, preserve evidence, or refer suspected fraud to a payment provider or appropriate authority where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising a legitimate consumer, warranty, payment-dispute, or other legal right.
18. Legal Rights and Product Recalls
This policy governs Larry OG’s voluntary exchange program and procedures for resolving order problems. It does not create a general right to return merchandise for a refund.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or replaces:
- A right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived;
- An applicable express or implied warranty;
- A manufacturer’s written warranty;
- A remedy for merchandise that was materially misrepresented;
- A remedy for merchandise supplied damaged, incorrect, or defective;
- A legally required refund or cancellation right; or
- A product-recall remedy.
When a manufacturer or government authority announces a product recall, follow the recall instructions. Recall terms may provide a refund, replacement, repair, disposal instruction, or another remedy different from this ordinary policy.
19. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our merchandise, fulfillment methods, payment providers, business practices, safety procedures, or legal obligations.
When the policy is updated, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
The policy in effect when a purchase is made generally applies to that purchase, unless a different result is required by law or agreed to with the customer.
